Its nice to see that mother earth does not have a belt of access points on the equator from APs not having Latitudes

So is there a belt with Longitude = 0? and I would think there would be a large cluster at E 0Deg and N 0Deg LOL

well the reason there is long cords is because the KML export script had a hickup or something and didnt write the Lat cords. or they were in a format (ie DDMM.MMMM) that Earth could not understand

Well you never know if your eye brows where accelerated to a high enough velocity, they just might hit GEO sync orbit, and that I think would be a first for eye brows any where. 8)

Well somebody needs to go find their buddies then ;-)
and throw a kegger

On a side note, the next release of WiFiDB will have an automated KML generation via the Daemon.

The newest AP is in the works (doing that as I type this) but the other part is working.

small sample here: http://rihq.randomintervals.com/wifidb/ ... update.kml

for some reason the daemon didn't re-create the full db.kml file when it switched over to the new day :? , made some modifications and re-ran it with a test and it worked fine, so things should be back to normal.

OT -- I have several smaller servers.. One is a Compaq prosignia server.... and three IBM servers. Drives had been scavaged before we acquired them... Any idea on what I can use them for?? reply as New post in DIY Hardware..

Maximum acceleration on an Intel Processor is directly propotional to amount of explosives used...

ah yes i would think that would be the maximum for anything, when explosives is involved, reminds me of the Episode of Mythbusters when they use 800Lbs of HE to blow up a cement truck lol

i also wanted to note that as a temporary restraint the RIHQ server is only accepting Access Points that have Valid GPS cords. in the final release this will be removed. But it will not accept APs that where found using the Native mode in vistumbler, as these APs do not have vital information (ie mac address, Channel, or Radio Type) all this information is vital to creating the access point in the Database.

So, we are back from NJ and we have uploaded all our scans from the trip.

I also recently updated to WiFiDB Alpha 4(pre-release version), so we now have a network link file that will update automatically

http://www.vistumbler.net/wifidb/out/daemon/update.kml <-- this file automatically updates at set intervals so you always have the latest full db in google earth
