Duplicate MAC addresses

This is probably along the lines of Duplicate SSIDs'. From my Laptop using the internal Intel 4965 nic I get 2 sometimes 3 instances of my AP.
I am new to this, so it is problably something I am doing. Notice the Authentication/encryption differences. Am I missing something? Using the latest drivers for NIC. P.S. Great work on the program. Very fast and clean interface.

They duplicates because the other information isn't the same...most likely virtual ssids....or netsh giving bad information

When a new AP comes in it gets checked if the BSSID, SSID, Channel, Authetication, and Encrytion match the values stored in the program match the new AP. If it does not it gets added as a new AP

Thank you ACalcutt for the fast response. Like I said, I am new to this and glad there are people like you who tolerate silly questions from newbies like myself. Thanks again, and have a wonderful day :D .

Hi, found this thread whilst trying to resolve exactly the same issue.

Solved it by 'allowing broadcast name' of the SSID within the router, rather than trying to hide it.
