I just joined and IE8 on XP is giving me a certificate error on this forum site. Do I need to configure anything?

Re: New Member - IE8 Certificate Error
Since we only have one IP we have to use SNI for our certificates.
If you look here, you can get some information about SNI ( http://wiki.apache.org/httpd/NameBasedSSLVHostsWithSNI ). unfortunately IE7 and above only supports SNI if you are running Vista(or above), so IE8 on xp will not use the certificate correctly (it usually grabs the cert for api.vistumbler.net instead of forum.techidiots.net). Since you are on XP your only real options are ignore the certificate error, or use a different browser. Firefox and Chrome both support SNI on XP
