Hello,
I'm having a problem migrating from version 9.8 to version 10 (on Win 7 Pro x64) :
- I tried with the auto-update (when opening Vistumbler and accepting to download directly the new version)
- I tried by downloading the compressed file from the home page
Every time the download has been blocked by my Anti-Virus (Kaspersky 2011 11.0.1.400) telling that the *.exe file is corrupted by a trojan ...
By the way, is version 10 still a Beta version ?
Just for the info : version 9.8 I'm currently using works perfectly !
Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Re: Vistumbler version 10
I would say report it as a false positive to kaspersky. I can see from this online scan what you are talking about ( http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/24f0 ... 1279540841 ). 2/40 antiviruses reported Vistumbler.exe as a virus (Kaspersky and F-Secure).
This seems to happen every time I release a new version an usually works itself out within a few weeks. I'm sure you could always add an exception in you antivirus software.
Vistumbler v10 is no longer in beta

Thanks a lot for this quick reply.
I'll send a report (false positive) to Kaspersky and will wait a bit to upgrade as you mention that it should work itself out within a few weeks. This time the two products had a new version practically at the same time : a few days ago the Anti-Virus and now your product, so .....

I also sent an email to someone at kaspersky I had contacted once before. Not sure it will help, but maybe it will speed this up some.
Re: Vistumbler version 10
Yesterday, I received feedback from the Kasperky's specialists within 1 hour and they confirmed a false detection. The issue was fixed during the next update.
I'm currently enjoying version 10 without any problem ...

Re: Vistumbler version 10
I'm not sure what you mean, I would contact kaspersky if you are having issues with their license
Re: Vistumbler version 10
What do you do if your kaspersky virus protection has been corrupted? Ok, my home computer uses the Kaspersky Virus Protection. And for some reason a message pops up saying that it is corrupted. It won't allow it to update and it froze while I was trying to update it at 87%. I need help very much to fix this problem.

Re: Vistumbler version 10
I would uninstall Kaspersky from control panel (programs and features) then re-install the latest version.
If it won't allow you to uninstall (due to corruption) try using the free version of revo uninstaller ( http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uni ... nload.html ) to forcibly remove the program
