hey mystic....we finally got the WiFiDB working right... you can upload your files here now (http://www.vistumbler.net/wifidb/import/)

you already have 3969 APs in the database ;-). I uploaded the ones you put on the forum.
If you got to http://www.vistumbler.net/wifidb/ -> View All Users you will see your forum name.

Amost 4000 ap's and I havent even a fourth of the Lexington Fayette Urban County area covered ! Just one quadrant. To think that just a mere 6 years ago there weren't 4000 in the entire state!

I like posting them in the forums.. lets n00bs get a quick idea of the power of this app AND disarms the feds. If I were anything but a White Hat, I wouldn't be leaving my tracks public, right? well, Maybe OFF-White LOL

Well since the recovery you now have no APs in the DB phil ;-). Even I only have a sad 2173...Mysitic is beating us now that all our old APs are under WiFiDB recovered.

Did you take into account that many of the AP's I posted will have multiple GPSid's because of their being detected at different coords?

wait what?
i thought that was the point, to have lots of GPSid's (signal history) per access point.
or did mystic hit the coffee pot too hard again?

Yes, even if a AP has many GPS points it is still only considered one AP

In fact, the more GPS points/Signal values we have the better we can figure out where the access point actually is. (since the gps point that we use to map is the gps point with the most satellites and where the AP signal is the strongest.
