I took a look at the two language files that were created for german and they both use the same word for encryption...

If you could do the following command at the command prompt (without the quotes)
"netsh wlan show networks mode=bssid > C:\netsh.txt"
and post C:\netsh.txt on the forum i can look to see what the problem is.

This will let me know if there is a problem in the Searchword for encrytion in the language file.

I think i described my problem a bit difficult. What I wanted to say is, that i can see networks but i can not see their enryption or anything else. I have added a picture so you can have a look at it.

I knew what you meant.

My program works by searching the output of the command "netsh wlan show networks mode=bssid". The words it searches the netsh output for are what I call searchwords. These searchwords are set in the language file.

For example. In English

The output from netsh looks like this
C:\Users\Andrew>netsh wlan show networks mode=bssid

Interface Name : Wireless Network Connection
There are 2 networks currently visible.

SSID 1 : dd-wrt
Network type : Infrastructure
Authentication : Open
Encryption : None
BSSID 1 : 00:1a:70:75:e7:e6
Signal : 100%
Radio Type : 802.11g
Channel : 6
Basic Rates (Mbps) : 1 2 5.5 11
Other Rates (Mbps) : 6 9 12 18 24 36 48 54

SSID 2 : MyHome
Network type : Infrastructure
Authentication : Open
Encryption : WEP
BSSID 1 : 00:13:10:c6:dd:1f
Signal : 22%
Radio Type : 802.11g
Channel : 6
Basic Rates (Mbps) : 1 2 5.5 6 11 12 24
Other Rates (Mbps) : 9 18 36 48 54
In the English language file the searchwords are defined
[SearchWords]
SSID=SSID
BSSID=BSSID
NetworkType=Network type
Authentication=Authentication
Encryption=Encryption
Signal=Signal
RadioType=Radio Type
Channel=Channel
BasicRates=Basic Rates
OtherRates=Other Rates
Open=Open
None=None
You are using a german version of windows, so your searchwords are different than mine. The current german searchwords are set to this
[SearchWords]
SSID=SSID
BSSID=BSSID
NetworkType=Netzwerktyp
Authentication=Authentifizierung
Encryption=Verschlüsselung
Signal=Signal
RadioType=Funktyp
Channel=Kanal
BasicRates=Basisraten
OtherRates=Andere Raten
Open=Geöffnet
None=Kein

If you can post the netsh.txt i can check to see if those searchwords are correct, and if they are not i can fix the language pack.

You can also manually set these searchwords yourself by either editing a language file or in vistumbler. In vistumbler go (Settings -> Set Netsh search words)

Actually. Have you even changed to the german language pack? The things that are showing are the same in both english and german.

Have you tried to change your language? (Settings --> Set Language)
