A newbie question

Post by kitkimes »

I downloaded and installed Vistumbler at the recommendation of PCWorld. The only instructions that they gave was to install and run Vistumbler. Then click on Scan APs which I did. Nothing ever happens. Besides my own wireless router, there are several I can see at various times but the table doesn't fill in at all. Am I missing a step? The database seems to be there from what I can see in the options. Any help appreciated.

You would only see access points in range of your computer. Do you see more than your router when you try to connect to wireless?

In the interface Menu did you select your Wireless card?
The best acceleration you can get on a Mac is 9.8ms^2
