Adhoc SSID's not visible to Windows 7
Adhoc SSID's not visible to Windows 7
Vistumbler is unable to see adhoc SSID's under Windows 7. Is this because my policy is set to prevent creating or connecting to adhoc networks?

Re: Adhoc SSID's not visible to Windows 7
Vistumbler should see adhoc networks. I tested and I was able to see one adhoc ssid around me, so it seems to be working.
It's possible the policy you have set could cause what you are seeing. It may be preventing netsh from returning adhoc networks. Do you see the adhock networks if you run "netsh wlan show networks mode=bssid" at the command prompt?
