Problem with Danish

Post by Mullermand »

Hi

Im running a Danish Vista (SP1)

When i start to use the program, there is no Channel information. i read somewhere here in the forum, that it is becaouse i need to change the language to Danish.
so i did...But then when i press the Search AP´s i get this error:

Line -1:
Error: Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded.

Any one ? :)

Regards
Martin

Can you turn on debug (Options -->Debug) and tell me what the last function the program is on when you get the -1 error?

Could you post your netsh output for me so i can see if i can find the reason? . to do this go to the command prompt and type "netsh wlan show networks mode=bssid > c:\netsh.txt" (without quotes). This will dump the netsh data into a file in c:\netsh.txt. Please post your netsh.txt

Found the problem. The danish language file look like this:
[SearchWords]
SSID=SSID
BSSID=BSSID
NetworkType=Netv
Authentication=Godkendelse
Encryption=Kryptering
Signal=Signal
RadioType=Radiotype
Channel=Kanal
BasicRates=Grundl
OtherRates=Andre hastigheder (Mbps)
Open=Åben
None=Ingen

It should look like this:

[SearchWords]
SSID=SSID
BSSID=BSSID
NetworkType=Netv‘rkstype
Authentication=Godkendelse
Encryption=Kryptering
Signal=Signal
RadioType=Radiotype
Channel=Kanal
BasicRates=Grundl‘ggende hastigheder (Mbps)
OtherRates=Andre hastigheder (Mbps)
Open=Åben
None=Ingen

It works for me

hmmm...i'm surprised that worked...usually vistumbler has problems with special characters. Does all your information show properly?

Do these fields have data is vistumbler now?
NetworkType
BasicRates

Usually the text after the special characters needs to be ommited for it to work right (like was in the file origionally). Could you post your language file to the forum? (i always have this fear that if i copy and paste text from the forum into the file it will mess up the characters)
