These are false positives. Feel free to prove me wrong with any file or registry monitor. I have never had anyone say vistumbler infected their computer, but I have had lots of false positives from AV companies detecting autoit as a virus just because some viruses have been written and compiled in autoit.

The only files vistumbler downloads are its own in the form of an update. The sourcecode is freely available if you want to compile yourself or look it over.

My standing recommendation is that if vistumbler is being detected as a virus, please talk to your AV company.

Most anti-virus software like NOD32 and Norton are often wrong, not only for Vistumbler, but for many other apps as well. I wouldn't be worry at all, but it's always a good idea to contact your AV support and let them know about the problem, so they can remove it.
