Hi, anyone know how to get my GPS to work with Vistumbler? Port settings are Port_#0002.Hub_#0003. I would love to get his little devil working under Vistumbler. Thanks in advance :-)

I think you are looking in the wrong place for you com port.

I'm not home and don't have my gps with me, but I found this image on google
your com port should be found here

EDIT: That if your GPS even shows up as a com port. If it does not it will not work. Some GPSs need a software to show up as a com port

Thanks but unfortunately it does not show up as com port. I was unable to get GPSGate to work either. Any other ideas? Thanks

Is anything able to connect to that gps device from your computer? does garmin have any programs/utilities that work with you device?

Your gps device is like this right? (http://www.garmin.com/products/etrexVenturehc/)
From what I see it doesn't looks like it can't be connected in a way to transfer gps data over usb. It looks like the usb is more fore transferring maps and other data to the device.

What you need is a NMEA compatible GPS to use with vistumbler. Something like the GPS-500, GPS-360, BU-353
