Welcome to the club, BoBer. All we ask is that you keep your hat clean, k?
Cant wait to see your scans

Alpha/Realtek units ROCK!!!
Check out http://www.wifi-link.com/ .. they hav 1000mW units available now.. Drool drool drool

Warscout is currently running an Alpha/Realtek 500 USB right now... Did some calculations with an online calculator I found surfing some Amature Radio sites ( radio is radio, the calculations work on all of it). Learned that my 16dBi omi antenna is pushing an effective 20 watts!!

Dont ditch the dongle.... Can use it with a 1.5 or 2 meter USB in a parabolic or a cantenna...

mm are you using your card with your laptop antenna, or are you planning to add an MMCX to SMA pigtail for external?

BoBer,
Its nice to see more people coming around.
Hope to see you become a regular member of the community here.
As always we are all ways looking for requests to improve Vistumbler (Acalcutt) and WiFiDB (pferland [me]), bugs that you find, or think may be a bug. Just need help getting something to work with either software.

once again welcome and hope to see you around.

BTW Phil, Those words are what my wife told her ex the night she left him. He didn't listen. She clipped his knee with her fender.. broke his kneecap. I wonder why she didn't throw it in reverse and finish the job LOL

Hello Phil

JA winter is nearly Over and i just woke up
Seems your getting hit by some Joker. ( Filter ) should do it.
-------------
So back to my last Thread on New Adapter ( 2000 )
Run a test using my Roof Antenne ( Rundstrahler ) 15db Stick.
All tests made on the same Stick @4min runs.
Alfa 1000mW ( my old unit ) still in use. > Found, 47 APs
WiFiSky 2000mW ( New ) testing . > Found, 35 APs
WiFiSky 1600mW ( New ) testing . > Found, 30 APs

So i will stay with the Alfa its far more Robust and i think its better Value for Money.

thanks...
