How accurate are L/L on a mobile in relation to running Vistumbler?

The accuracy of the Lat/Long that Vistumbler gets from the GPS is dependent on how accurate your GPS device is and how many GPS satellites you can see at a given time.
The best acceleration you can get on a Mac is 9.8ms^2

Case in point - I have a pretty darned good uBlox GPS, but in places like urban canyons it will have significant challenges. I've attached an image from Google Earth using a recent data dump from WiFiDB showing APs that I'm grabbing as I drive down the street in downtown LA. Note that I did not make a sharp left and drive through the first floor of the building before turning from Broadway onto 7th...

This is a good example of GPS wander in an urban canyon.
