ok I;m fairly new to this so please take it easy on my if I ask some dum question
OS is Vista 32 ultimate
GPS Trying to use
Gosget USB GPS Receiver Sirf3 Marine/Navigator XP/Vista bought of ebasy, arrived today.
I was previously trying to use my faithful Garmin GPS Map 76C both are giving me the same error switching off after reaching tha count of 10. how ever if I slow the baud rate on the new one down to 4800 or lower It stays connected but doesnt seem to acquire satilite information???!!! Any info on step by step how to set it up so I can try it out wor driving would be greatly appreicated

When you successfully connect at 4800baud do you see data that looks like this?
