Thanks!. I am considering making some text spaces bigger. What words needed to be shortened?

German language file completely reworked for V9!

Two items do not show-up translated at all (reason not known):

Options / Refreshing Networks
Options / Graph Dead Time

File last Updated: Jan 2, 2009 => minor corrections

Hi,
"Refreshing Networks" means "Aktualisiere Netzwerke"

What about "Auto Refresh Networks", this is the updated text (I did not change the label in the language packs yet)

Hey ACalcutt,

today i updated my Vistumbler and noticed the german translation was pretty old, so i updated it for you :D

I used the v9.0 (2009) translation from franz_post and updated it to v10.3.
  • Added the new strings from the english language file and translated them
  • Fixed some small mistakes in the old translation
I also noticed, the color of the icon in the first column already shows whether an ap is active or inactive. So maybe the active column could be removed completely to save space on screen (good for lower resolutions) and maybe to save a tiny bit of cputime aswell :)

regards...

Hello,

i updated to 10.4 Beta 2 and it said the english and german translations have been updated, but it downloaded the old german translation (v9) instead of the new one.

Thanks, I added the new file.

Could you do me a favor in future releases? For the date can you use the number value for the month instead of the abbreviation, just so its consistent with the rest of the language files
(eg. "Date=2012/11/13" instead of "Date=2012/Nov/13")

Version 10.4 is quite old now, and I think the auto update for that version still used the old sourceforge repository for its source of updates. We have moved to github, so the old sourceforge repository is no longer updated.

Have you tried the last version? The latest official release was 10.5. The latest beta is 10.6 Beta 16.2, which will try to download when on your first run of 10.5. I recommend using the latest beta.

I usually don't update old versions, but if you want to get the latest language page you can get the file from our git repository (https://github.com/RIEI/Vistumbler/tree ... /Languages). Download the updated ini file and put it in you Vistumbler\Languages directory. Since 10.4 is unlikely to be updated, the language pack shouldn't be overwritten again and it should stay as the new language pack you copied in.
