For the new visitors, here is a cap of an accumulation of drives abot my hometown illustrating the density of WiFi in an urban enviroment :
The 'starburst' is the expanded view of the AP's detected at just ONE GPS positional fix. The Mac addresses far left center were added by editing the Google Earth location properties. Helps me when I needed to try to zero in on an AP.
