Re: Small variation in signal strength presented in Vistumbler
netsh only outputs in percent (0-100%). I have no source of signal in db and netsh's refresh time seems to be really slow without the refresher on. I am hoping one day to use the native api to get wireless information, but i am not familiar with the kind of programming it requires at the moment (see...

At the moment vistumbler does not have a polish language pack. You are missing information because the output of netsh varies between languages. To fix this you have 2 options. The First is in (Settings --> Set Netsh SearchWords). The second would be to help us create a Polish Language Pack ( http:/...

No, the information is there so i doubt its the card...
but from the picture it seems like it should be working. The multiplier is 2.76 pixels ...and its getting data of 99%... I'll look into it more and seem if i can find another reason

I wouldn't go lower that 1000ms. With my wireless card and the network refresher turned on I would say netsh updates about 2secs - 10secs. With the refresh off i would say it updates between 2sec - 30sec. I think the actual numbers may vary depending on the card you have. Without GPS vistumbler can ...

You are correct that vistumbler will show the mac address of the router, not the wireless card.
I believe with mac filtering anyone could see your router, but if they try to log on they will be unable to because of the mac filter you set up
