Bug in 9.6 & 9.7
I haden't bothered to save and install VSt9.8 recently and had the chance to drive with 9.7. I was playing with stumbler in a parking lot, waiting for doctor to give granny a checkup. Of course I had to do the whole raising the mast , debug a little hardware issues, ect ect... Ran ver 9.7 and starte...

Yes, I admit it, I do like using inSSIDer now and then. I still occasionaly check thier site for updates and hoping they would free release some older version of thier Channelizer software. Seems the only tool I am lacking in my WiFi inventory is a WiFi spectral anylizer. Channelizer is the only dev...

Firefix crashes on me too much and Wife has banned me from Google Chrome.. She doesn't like the idea of its ability to allow anonymous surfing. She has certain 'trust' issues. IE sure is a memory hog, though.

I am really hung up on the idea of being able to get a bearing on any given AP while wardriving.. Not for hacking, but just for curiosity's sake. Andrew, I was thinking of the ranging circles again... can a button be added to compass to switch between a long range setting ( your current default) and a close range setting (perhaps 1/10 current ranging values)? If it is possible ( IE not HARD) with AutoIT, I think this may be a nice compromise....

Wait Lets keep the ranging values easy, like you said, but I think I would reduce them by a factor of 10 with dark red <= 2 meters. That is close to a seven foot radius.. that is plenty close for searching. If a veteran geocacher can't find a cache in that range, then it was either muggled (slang fo...

That looks sweet! I will toy with it more tomorrow. Though I really do think that the range values are too large. This sort of tool really ought to be more precise.
