Your AP count is getting freaking huge! Getting us close to the elusive 1 million AP count. I never thought the Database would ever get this big when we started out with about 10,000 APs.

Jon, There is no way that I know of filtering the scanning in netsh, it just detects all AP's that are in its range. Even with the native api, i dont think there is a way to filter it. Also, Andrew is starting work on the auto-uploader. Not sure how far he has gotten, he has only been working on it ...

The Signal column is the current active signal strength that vistumbler is reporting. The High Signal is the all time highest signal strength that vistumbler has seen.

Microsoft Network Monitor 3.4 is a packet capture software like Wireshark. It is not the same as a Wireless scanner that just grabs the WiFi information. Vistumbler does not capture packets, just the Wireless identifying information.

Well in the pre 0.30 versions the access points had two tables of their own. One for signal history and one for GPS history. This was incredibly stupid because it takes more memory for mysql/mariadb to cache a new table versus adding a new row to an existing cached table. Post 0.30 there is only one...

I was just thinking of that multi-AP graphing I wanted to do for some time, instead of sending the data via the URL and a GET (and run out of length in the URL), we could have vistumbler upload a VS1 file with the APs that you want graphed and then parse that.

Vistumbler has the ability to export a KML file so that Google Earth can plot the roads that you have driven.
If you go to Settings->Auto KML/Auto Sort, you can setup your options for Google Earth.
To turn on the AutoKML go to Options->Auto KML

If you are running Vista/7 then it should not grey out the Native Wifi Option, that only happens in XP because there is no NetSH.
Also did you try Andrews steps of checking that the search terms are the same as your Netsh output?
