Holy crap Jon, I was looking at your first file and the flight out, and I can see that you picked up an AP that you added back in 2015 in Payson, AZ roughly 4 miles away from where your plane was flying by. 4miles.png I also found this AP in the first file that you were able to pick up at roughly 28...

I just remembered that the file that you get to download is just a linker file to URLs that will then return the info that you want. So the file is always going to be 5kb in size. But the contents of the URL should change as APs are imported. Will still take a look at it.

Happy New Year Jon!
That should be a simple fix, Andrew probably only has the folder as read only or the apache user not have write permissions to the upload folder, will have him take a look into it.

Hi Jon, Andrew moved the Database site back to the server rack at the apartment over the weekend. No problem. One other thing we noticed is the power level settings for Windows effecting wireless scanning results. Back when we started I would notice that my laptop would only pick up a few APs. I noticed it was in Balance mode. Changed it to high perf and I would be able to see more APs.

Native WiFi Mode uses the Native Wif API in windows instead of using the NetSH commands and scraping the output that Vistumbler originally did to get the Wireless APs. You can still use the NetSH mode, but it s slower than the API. To toggle it check or uncheck Options->Use Native Wifi. Andrew reall...

Oops sorry about that it is under the WifiDB Menu called Graph Selected AP Signal to Image.

Using the wifidb graph under the experimental menu might work, it creates a png image from the AP data. Or you can get the data from the raw access db file.

I'm not sure I understand your question, are you asking how to tell if you are Connected/Disconnected from an Access Point through Vistumbler?

Vistumbler does not support using more than one network card at a time. Currently the only way to have more than one antenna active is to have more than one instance of Vistumbler running. One Instance uses Antenna A on Card A while the second instance uses Antenna B on Card B. You would then have t...
