Hmm - sunspots?
I tried it just now, a few hours later, and no errors...
It was clearly repeatable before, so I'll just assume some transient in (?) permissions?
On W7 it also causes a system pop-up upon startup due to UAC - asking if I want to allow this program access to the hard disk ...

w7 startup problem
I just installed vistumbler v9-8,
and when it runs is just keeps complaining:
"no disk in drive F:" (the DVD drive)
Responding "ignore", it does find local networks, but just keeps popping up this error, infinitely...
I've reinstalled twice, same results.
Hints??
